Students may include an internship in both the bachelor’s and master’s degree elective studies (degree regulations 2013). Internship is not an obligatory part of either the bachelor’s or master’s degrees of the School of Business, and for it to be approved as part of the degree it must be included in an approved personal study plan (HOPS).
The general goal of the internship is to offer the students the possibility to familiarise themselves with duties typical for their field in course of their studies. In addition, it helps students to get a better idea of their future employment opportunities and to establish connections with the working life. An internship abroad is a good way to get to know your field in an international environment and to learn to work in a foreign culture while enhancing your language proficiency.
